Wild Camp is Woofing Wild's trainer-led, structured alternative to traditional doggy daycare.
Rather than spending the day in unrestricted play, every dog is carefully supervised and given opportunities to learn, socialise, explore, rest and develop their confidence within a safe and enriching environment.
Throughout their time at Wild Camp, we'll reinforce everyday training and monitor each dog's individual progress. Depending on the dogs attending, this can include recall, engagement, impulse control, settling, appropriate social interactions, confidence building and learning how to disengage from play.
A typical Wild Camp session includes a balance of structured social time, training, enrichment, exploration and — importantly — downtime. Dogs are encouraged to interact appropriately but are never expected to spend their entire session playing. Learning how to settle around other dogs and take themselves away is just as valuable as learning how to socialise.
Who is Wild Camp for?
Wild Camp can be particularly beneficial for puppies developing appropriate social skills, dogs who need additional help reinforcing their training, sociable adult and older dogs who enjoy canine company, and rescue or nervous dogs who may benefit from carefully managed opportunities to build confidence.
Every dog is treated as an individual. We consider their personality, confidence, play style and needs when managing interactions and activities.
Our aim isn't to send home a dog who is simply exhausted from hours of play.
It's to send home a dog who has had a fulfilled, structured and enriching day — physically and mentally.

Wild Camp is available as a drop-off service, or we can arrange collection and drop-off for an additional fee, subject to location and availability.
We deliberately limit Wild Camp to a maximum of 12 dogs per day. Keeping our numbers small means every dog has space to explore, receives quality attention from our team and isn't simply thrown into an overwhelming group environment.
The Buddy System
We don't believe every dog should be expected to get along with every other dog.
That's why Wild Camp operates using our Buddy System. We carefully consider each dog's personality, play style, confidence, age and individual needs when deciding which dogs are best suited to spending time together.
Our priority will always be safe, appropriate social experiences over simply creating the biggest possible group.
Before joining Wild Camp, dogs must be assessed as suitable for a group environment. If we feel Wild Camp isn't currently the right environment for your dog, we'll be open about that.
Instead, we may recommend specialist 1-1 walks, training or behavioural support to help them develop the skills and confidence they need.
For some dogs, this may even provide a pathway towards joining Wild Camp in the future.
Wild Camp provides a carefully managed environment where dogs can develop social skills, practise training, build confidence and work through challenges with appropriate professional supervision.

Opening Times & Membership
Monday – Friday
Wild Camp runs from 10:30am – 12:30pm, with collections taking place beforehand.
Wild Camp operates as a membership service, giving your dog a regular place within our carefully managed groups. Regular attendance allows us to get to know your dog, monitor their development and provide consistency in their socialisation, training and confidence-building.
Membership starts from £25 per session, with reduced rates available for dogs attending multiple days each week.
All Aboard the Doggy Bus!
Can't drop your dog off? Depending on your location and availability, your dog can be collected from home in our Woofing Wild Doggy Bus and transported to Wild Camp.
Collections generally take place between 9:00am and 10:15am, before heading to our secure Wild Camp field for the session. Transport arrangements and collection times will depend on your location and the dogs travelling that day.
Drop-off at Wild Camp can also be arranged if you'd prefer to bring your dog yourself.
Joining Wild Camp
Before becoming a Wild Camp member, every dog must complete an assessment.
This gives us the opportunity to meet your dog, understand their personality and individual needs, discuss any training we'd like to reinforce and determine which of our dogs and groups they're most suited to through our Buddy System.
Most importantly, it allows us to make sure Wild Camp is genuinely the right environment for your dog.
If we don't believe your dog would currently thrive within a group environment, we'll tell you. We may instead recommend one-to-one training or our specialist solo walks to help build the skills and confidence they need.
